Thoughtless is the first book in the Thoughtless series.
I was pretty hesitant to read this book as it has cheating in it (and we all know how I can't stand cheating!!!) but boy, it was such a roller coaster of a book!
For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.I can't help but fall in love with Kellan Kyle! Kellan is just so…
Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes...and none of them will ever be the same.
“I don't know how to let you back in." My heart beat spiked and I closed my eyes when he whispered," I don't know how to keep you out either.”
Their relationship was somehow so wrong but yet, it was so right!
“I’ve never wanted anyone, like I want you. Every girl is you to me. You’re all I see…you’re all I want.”
Kiera was kind of annoying though. Hate that she couldn't make up her mind and string both guys along. I really felt like slapping her more than once in this book.
But KELLAN!!!!!! OMG! He makes the whole book better! He is so wonderful, albeit a little broken but the way he chose to walk away to make it easier for her was
“I don't know how to let you back in." My heart beat spiked and I closed my eyes when he whispered," I don't know how to keep you out either.”
How can you NOT fall in love with a guy like that?
“It was heartfelt, it was heartbreaking. It was extreme joy, it was bone-crushing grief. It was fiery hot, it was icy-cold. It was true love sprouting... it was true love dying.
It's like we were both trying to hold onto something that was slipping through our fingers, and we didn't understand why.”
